Rachel Bridgers

My name is Rachel Bridgers and I'm Canadian. I live buried in snow with my boyfriend and my adorable cat, Sven.

I work in a non-profit that aims to teach people how to live more sustainably. Most times, it's more convincing them why they should care. I'm also involved in political activism. And of course, I write as a side-hustle (for now).

I write because I'm an opinionated person. I have a lot to say on a lot of topics. I love having meaningful exchanges and reading about diverging opinions. Writing also gives me an outlet to process my experiences and resentments. It’s much cheaper than therapy.

I'm passionate about the environment, animal rights, social justice, and feminism. Those are the topic I write most about, although I'm not sticking to a niche for now.
