Social Change begins with me. It may sound cliche, but if I want for the world to change, then I need to begin with myself. Sometimes, changing my own behavior and patterns can be the hardest thing to do because it requires great humility and an admission that I am not perfect. Honestly, it’s easier to call out others for their damaging behavior than to acknowledge that I’m part of the problem. But if I want for the world to change, then I must refrain from contributing to the issue at hand. Social change begins with me and my actions.
