We’re in a world where masculinity, especially with these big spectacle movies, is often pushed by rippling six packs and forcing an image down someone’s throat trying to prove masculinity. Whereas I think true masculinity comes from having a strong sense of self. Theo James

I agreed with the quote especially about forcing an image down someone’s throat with this masculinity.
Masculinity is not a true or false question. The question is are your actions, as a man, true to your beliefs about how a good man acts. A related question is how strongly do you take such an inventory, how strong are you in taking a close look at actions that were mindless mistakes or mindful mistakes. You are not talking to yourself David. I read and respond to EVERY comment made on the quotes of the day. I think your comments are very relevant and enlightening. I particularly like what you’ve said about strong abs—what they’re good for and what they’re not the best for. I AGREE that flexibility (in nearly everything) is a better options.
