Watch this daddy’s reaction when learning he’s having another baby. Why would men feel threatened by this?

This is a very normal moment. In an apparently very classic little family. That is why it is so moving. Daddy’s back from work, carrying suitcase, kissing his baby girl. And his reaction when he discovers that his daughter has new shirt saying “big sister” is priceless.
The video has been shared on reddit and received numerous comments. Including some that mention the probable homosexuality of the father and that would be nothing but sad to hear that news.

Isn’t it strange ? What kind of homophobic society generated people that will look at that family moment and make statements like this one :
He does however seem like a closeted homosexual. But a closeted homosexual who loves his wife and children. I wish them a long and happy life. May he commit to his decision and never come out. And if he does come out, hopefully she’s cool with it and becomes his sassy fag-hag.
He is gay. Definitely.
Uploading a family video of a moment that comes only a few times in a lifetime can’t be bad, right? What, then, is the spirit behind commenting on this little piece with sexual hypothesis or degrading statements? Because there’s more :
Do americans live literally movie plastic lives, coming in from work with a with that bag kissing the kid & sitting down for a wife’s cooked dinner. I bet she was wearing a spotted apron and shitCan’t wait to see the look on his face when the baby turns out to be black.
Am I supposed to be enraged? The look on that guys face when it hit him sort of makes the trolls hard to even remember.
I like the spirit of your article, you’re advocating correct premises. ie; It’s sad that so many people had such negative words for a precious moment. However, I fail to see the value in the article. So, people will troll/flame/harass you (figuratively) in the comment section of any YouTube video you may post. Welcome to the internet? Who cares? If you don’t want to see it, simply block the ability to comment. If you choose to allow commenting on a public video which you upload for the world to see, then you have no right to get upset when people… Read more »
I think it’s a beautiful video and the dad’s reaction made me smile. As for the nasty comments, idiots on the internet are expected and its better when they are ignored rather than given the attention they desire.
Loved his reaction! Keep in mind he just got home, full day at work, maybe tired? hungry? His reaction is reasonable, calm. Be realistic, people.
Very touching video! And if you are surprised by the comments, you are pretty new to the internet.
I don’t honestly know whether I’m enraged that these troglodytes with keyboards seem to be everywhere in the cyberworld, or saddened what their seemingly increasing numbers seem to be saying about modern society. I mean, are more people turning into these assholes, or were they always out there and more of them are learning to use computers. Given a choice ,I’d hope it’s the latter.
I hope it’s the latter as w
I think you meant ‘probable homosexuality’ of the father, but still, just your basic resentment and hate from idiots with nothing better to do. I think Bukowski said it best with regard to them. See ‘Downers’: http://henrycharlesbukowski.tumblr.com/…/180702…/downers And as for waiting for ‘comments from enraged readers’ I think you’re missing the point, that normal people who would be enraged at this, are also intelligent enough not to engage with it, since that is the whole point of trolls placing their comments, to get your attention one way or another. Simply ignoring them for the fools they are, is the best… Read more »
Still no comments from enraged readers? Or are readers not enraged that a working straight guy, is being slammed?
Yeah – trolls and abusive people run rampant in comment sections (and twitter, and elsewhere) on the net. It’s truly sad. It’s clear that sitting behind the screen make a lot of people lose sight of the fact that they are talking to (and about) real people.
This has been going on for years and years, and appear to be getting worse (death / rape threats against women on twitter etc). I’ve never been able to find a constructive way to deal with this, but I do know I should stay away from trying to engage these people.
Waiting for the responses of outrage regarding the comments to this video…. I’ll be honest, his reaction was far more calm then mine when I found out my daughter was having a baby.
