Down low in the fields of gold the ground hugging layer of tiny herbs may be found.

This is the floral understory, existing within their own niche of higher humidity.
It would seem they have gone an extra mile to attract the pollinators down to their lowly plain.
This deep visceral beauty takes away the breath of all within this ecology.
