The first of the great color changes of the Dehesa is beginning.
Already the yellows are opening out across the meadows and wild scrub lands.
Countless millions of flowers of this hue synchronise themselves to unfurl within their own allotted time.
Soon the sun yellow flowers will dazzle our eyes and this landscape will seem on fire with its floral denizens.
Then in a few short weeks, the yellows will be replaced with the pinks of the pastel blooms, which themselves will be surpassed by the passionate reds of the late Spring flowerers.
