How much do you value yourself? Think about it. You value and invest in so many material things: clothes, car, home, etc. They are all a part of your overall budget and they are important. They make us comfortable, but in comparison to these “things” how much do you invest in yourself? How much value do you place on your spiritual and overall growth as a person who is confident in who they are and whose they are.
Are you a person who has self-confidence and self-esteem? If the answer is yes, then you are probably investing in yourself. If the answer is no, then you should continue reading.
It is incredible how God has created the universe and how he has carved out your place in it.
“The universe does this thing … where it aligns you with people, things, and solutions that match the energy you put out. The more you improve yourself … the more you [will] see things that are beneficial to your well-being.”
You are not meant to be stagnant. You are meant to value yourself and to invest in yourself. I am not advocating to the point of selfishness, but I am asking you to understand your value. In fact, investing in yourself should be a part of your budget, just as maintaining your car or home are a part of your budget. Include taking classes, seminars, and workshops.
Seek outside assistance in the form of a coach, teacher or even a therapist. Because here is the thing, if you are not living your life on purpose – if you don’t value your walk in purpose – there is a good chance you are not investing in yourself, either. And if you aren’t investing in yourself, you probably don’t value yourself. If that is true, it will be nearly impossible to ever achieve happiness or realize your potential.
“Many people WANT to be healthy, wealthy and happy, BUT they don’t believe they actually deserve it,” as one therapist, Joseph Welner, puts it. It all links to your self-worth – your own sense of your value as a person.
In reality self-respect, self-esteem, and self-worth are intricate parts of your ability to achieve your potential on any level. They are each a part of valuing yourself. Don’t value or invest in other things before you value or invest in yourself. When you are setting the budget for those “things” remember to budget for your own self-worth and growth. Invest in enlightenment and education because education and enlightenment are both linked to self-confidence and self- confidence is a critical part of self-worth.
Strive to be rich in self-esteem and self-worth:
1. Always seek education and enlightenment from multiple sources, including a coach.
2. Don’t listen to anyone who puts you down, who belittles your dreams, and who does not value who you are.
3. Place unqualified value on the talents and qualities you possess.
4. Never compare yourself or what you have (material or otherwise). You are uniquely made by God and uniquely valuable.
When you believe in the value you bring, you are truly wealthy. Sometimes, however, we need just a little assistance to really understand and value who you are and whose you are. If you are unsure of your own self-worth and maybe you don’t think you deserve to invest in yourself, don’t hesitate to contact me. I am here to help you see your value.

One other thing that this reminded me of, Dr. Sims, is the thoughts from “Desiderata” I read that first when I was about 18, a long time ago, and tried to always keep that in mind for a view on myself, and how to fit it in to life. Perhaps that’s why your words resonated with me.
Your words have wisdom in a being of life. God or not, we really font know. Point is live your life in confidence of yourself and your place in it. The material is immaterial. I didn’t see Michael Jackson pulling a trailer full of his stuff when he left.
People will deride you, criticize you because you don’t live up to their idea of how to live their live . Ignore them. You’re living your life. The only one one you got. So live yours.
Your article is helpful our spiritual father. Most people value money and sell out their soul just to have fame and wealth. The money in question have the value base on what the United States government call and value it. People forget to acquire heavly wealth by seeking the knowledge of God that we make them live happily and make heaven on the last day when the trumpet sound. I will have to share your article so others can benefit from it.
