We are watching “Les Miserables” on a big screen tv. I’m sandwiched between my two daughters on the couch, my ex-husband on the La-Z-Boy. I’m reminded how, just months earlier, me paralyzed, tracheotomy tube, he watched as I pointed to the letters one by one, h-e-l-p-m-e. He tucked me into an ambulance to escape to another hospital when my blood pressure and temperature soared to the max and the doctors said, “Sorry, there’s nothing we can do”. And now, despite the saddest story in history, an opera, no less, he can still make me laugh. Sometimes love doesn’t look anything like you think it does.

Finally, glad you caved! Really like this take on triage & the series. Even if the doctors couldn’t help, at least there was someone who did.
Next up, Joanna needs to cave as well.
Thanks John! It’s such a great series. All the different ways love appears, the ones we never talk about. Honored to be in such great company, yourself included.
We will have a few posts by our core women going up here and there. Next female up is Anne Theriault. It’s really great, too!
But the next few by guys are great. So interesting. I love what everyone has brought to this series, including you, John!
