About Joel Goldberg As a television personality with the Kansas City Royals since 2008, Joel’s name has practically become synonymous with the World Champion baseball team. His behind the scenes work inside the clubhouse and the relationships he has built along the way give him a unique perspective on culture that translates to business success.
Recognizing that principles of baseball could be utilized in the business world, Joel launched his successful speaking business in 2016. With audiences eager for more regular content, his podcast Rounding the Bases was released shortly thereafter. Through his interviews with business leaders, athletes, and everyone in between, the bi-weekly installments expand on the topics of culture and leadership through a baseball lens. When the pandemic brought baseball to a screeching halt, Joel unexpectedly found himself with some extra time on his hands.
