He hasn’t been perfect. But he LOVES her. How can he make this anniversary unforgettable? Allana Pratt, Intimacy experts suggests…
Question: My 25th wedding anniversary is coming up in a couple of months. What advice can you give me to make this anniversary one she will never forget?
Answer: First congratulations for 25 years. I’m sure there have been many bumps along the road and I honor you for doing to work to keep your marriage working and expanding.
Second I honor you for caring to make this 25th something she will never forget. You could just get her some flowers and dinner, yet something inside wants to emerge through you, gifting her with an amazing experience, and in so doing awakening the next level of your creativity and masculinity. Bravo.
Third, 25th is your Silver Anniversary as I’m sure you know, so if she enjoys traditions like that, getting something personally monogramed at a site like ThingsRemembered might really let her know you took the time to honor this milestone.
If she’s more into experiences that just gifts, then she’s like me! I even wrote a 2 book series about turning gifts into experiences she’ll never forget, in gratitude for the wonderful men in my life who have made my heart splay wide open in bliss with their generosity of spirit.
From that book of 10 ideas (or was it 12?), use the idea of 25 yrs to come up with 25 reasons you love her, 25 best memories, 25 ways she turns you on, 25 reasons you’re lucky to be her man… then give her 25 roses, one at a time, and read the list to her! Or put 25 sticky notes around the house, in the spice rack, her underwear drawer etc that she can find over time…
Get creative, have fun, be romantic, be silly, be sexy… let her know the best is yet to come. The book I mentioned is Scoring A Relationship, Turning Gifts into Experiences She’ll Never Forget. It’s full of photos of these ideas… and Book One is about the inner Game of who you need to BE to get your Queen and HAVE a thriving relationship… yet it sounds like you have that part handled! However, you may pick up on a few things where you’re a 9 ready to tip into a 10, yes?
If you have any trepidation of being so vulnerable, bold and open hearted to share such authentic feelings with her, then you will benefit from reading my www.GetHerToSayYes.com report and video series that shines light on any blind spots in your confidence, communication, sexuality and intimacy with your wife. Even after 25 years, keeping a student’s mind will keep you expanding and savoring moments like when you first met. As soon as we think we ‘know’ something, we shut off limitless possibilities of wonder, joy and connection. That’s why even though I consider myself a world class coach, I always have my own coach, well coaches really, who keep me humble, growing and evolving as my best self for me, my son, my clients, my community… my Soul.
Let me know what you choose and how it goes, kay? Send a photo of her happy face! Know that I believe in your magnificence and that I’m grateful that you’ve reached out. Great love, deliciously, Allana xoxo
