5 Everyday Things My Girlfriend Does That I Can’t Get Enough Of

Well before I write this blog, I’m mentally ready to get more side-eyes from my bae.

It was a Saturday, and we were going on a date.

We’re all dressed up sexy, perfumes doing their best; we’re happy and excited as always to have the best time.

I do notice small things in her, like she did her eyebrows, wore a new earring, and sprayed a new scent, but I find her much more attractive when we go for a stroll or sit in a garden and talk for hours.

Now I’m not saying that I don’t find her attractive when she dresses up, but that’s like once weekly or twice monthly. The rest of the time we’re in our comfy clothes, roaming on our bike and having a time of our lives.

To be honest, I’ll say that it’s a good sign when you find your partner attractive when he/she is not wearing any makeup, not dressed up, or not perfect at all. In this natural state you find the truest version of your partner, no filters nothing and that’s very vital for you to know what kind of a person he/she is.

After being together, I’ve noticed a few of these seemingly ordinary habits that somehow make her even more attractive in my eyes.

1. Just-Woke-Up Selfie:

One morning, I woke up to a selfie from my girlfriend.

No makeup. Hair looking like it had just survived a cyclone. Eyes half-open. Her caption simply read, “Don’t judge me.”

Naturally, I judged her and decided it was one of the cutest photos she had ever sent me.

Maybe it’s because there’s something refreshing about seeing someone exactly as they are.

No filters

No perfect lighting

No carefully chosen angles.

Just the real person.

2. Resting Her Head On My Back:

Whenever we’re riding on the bike for a long time, she sometimes gets tired and quietly rests her head on my back. It’s such a small thing, but I find it incredibly attractive.

In that moment, I can feel her trust. It tells me she’s comfortable, feels safe with me, and doesn’t have to pretend to be anything.

3. Laughing Uncontrollably:

One thing that gets me every single time is when she laughs so hard that she completely forgets about the surroundings.

The kind of laugh where she’s trying to speak but can’t get the words out, tears start forming in her eyes, and everyone around us starts staring.

In that very moment, she’s not trying to be anyone else it’s her purest form that I’m seeing and that’s exactly why I find her attractive.

It’s pure, unfiltered happiness.

4. Tying Up Her Hair:

I still remember it was a friday of summers and due to the heat she tied her hair up.

I don’t know what it is, but whenever she gathers her hair and ties it into a messy bun, my brain legit melts.

The funniest part is that she’s usually doing it for the least romantic reason possible; because it’s hot, because the wind is annoying her, or because she’s about to eat.

To her, it’s just a practical five-second move. To me, it’s one of those little moments that somehow makes her look even more beautiful.

5. Getting Excited About Small Things:

Whenever I say that this weekend we’re going to this cafe or going to this mall or going for a ride or for an ice cream stroll, her reaction is all I dream and care about.

She’ll excitedly clap her hands like a little baby, and she does her little dance, and for this very reaction of hers, I plan our dates with all my heart. Just to see her this happy and see her smile, I can plan a date every damn day.

There’s something refreshing about being around someone who can squeeze so much happiness out of ordinary moments.
