Daily Mo Update
I often wonder how much more or less I’d love/hate my facial hair if it were darker and not all gingery…
Distractions. They can be awesome but they can also leave you even more emotionally taxed. When dealing with anxiety and depression, distracting yourself with something that will temporarily make you happy or require your concentration and prevent dwelling on your depressant can be tempting. I would recommend it to help get yourself to a place where you have the motivation and desire to make progress towards a better mental health. Constant distractions can turn into habits though and cause avoidance of the real issue at hand. Unfortunately it isn’t always easy to draw the line, but an easy indicator is if you start to feel stifled and monotonous. While a routine can help alleviate depression, it is experiencing new things that help us grow.

Daily Mo Update
I woke up sick today. It’s about time the season rolled in and I received my annual winter cold. The Mo is moving along, although today I realized something I’m surprised I haven’t noticed before. Here is a nice list of principles that “Psychology Today” deems as typical of the average American male.
1. Restrict emotions
2. Avoid being feminine
3. Focus on toughness and aggression
4. Be self-reliant
5. Make achievement the top priority
6. Be non-relational
7. Objectify sex
8. Be homophobic
