The mythos of those trampled underfoot,
a serenity with broken knees.
Charter the first flight
to the depths of this life.
Bleeding in profuse beats,
a heart racing to the finish
only to be mauled by the illusory constructs
of a mind run amuck.
He believes he Is.
A pouring forth, a subtle glow,
the trust bequeathed to the poorest of souls.
No dimes may buy back
what has been sold
out in exchange
for the tyranny of lies.
Surrender at the gates
of a body disarmed
by the feverous rhetoric
placed as memories in her flesh.
Prying won’t free them.
The bi-colored hall opens to a courtyard
filled with the presence of One.
Expansive
and golden bold.
To see is not a miracle
for these eyes shine back
below every brow I see
before me.
