Life oscillates in a frightening way: one day, we’re smiling, celebrating some achievement, and the next, we’re crying when we find someone we love in the hospital.
We laugh with friends on the weekend and face a problem at work on Monday, we make countless plans and are frustrated with most of them.
There comes a time in our lives when we become so discouraged that we question whether everything is just an illusion. Our faith begins to fail and fear tries to enter our home at all costs. In the midst of the storm, we wonder if God is really listening to us. Because everything has been going so wrong lately and, look, it seems that the bad things are coming to the surface all at once, it almost seems like they’re conspiring.
Have faith, I am acting. As much as things are beyond our control, they remain strictly under God’s control.
I don’t know if what has taken over your heart is the fear of loneliness, if it needs self-love, or if you’ve been feeling like trash lately, in the face of so many failures. I don’t know if your problem lies in your family, work, or relationships.
It may be that all these areas of your life are messed up and you see no way out of any of them, you don’t know how to start over. But I would like to remind you, in case you have forgotten it by any oversight, that you are not a collector of defeats, you are a collector of stories, of learnings, no matter how many no’s you receive, how many goodbyes, ends, and farewells. Never forget that you are capable of starting over. Don’t lose sight of the beautiful possibilities, don’t let the pain be greater.
Sometimes, when the storm comes, the winds are too strong and then we fear that everything will be destroyed and that we will not be “saved”. But God is telling us: Have faith, I am acting. As much as things are beyond our control, they remain strictly under God’s control. He knows the right time to calm the storm, He is calm. God knows the right time to act, He is wisdom. God knows the right time to change the course of your life, He is the lord of time. A perfect time.
Don’t let anxiety, fear, and doubt shake your inner peace. Don’t let any storm take away your courage and, when you don’t know where to go, remember that in the Father’s arms, you find protection. That there, all pain is transformed into love and every wound is restored. Remember that there is the best place to take shelter.
We are not free from storms, but we are also not alone. In the most difficult moments of your life, it may even seem that you are alone, but God takes care of every detail, He is with you, always.
The storm can be the ideal moment to hone our patience, to give us an unshakeable faith.
It can be the ideal moment for opportunities, to transform us and make us see things that we didn’t see before, due to complacency, habit, routine. The storm passes, it comes and goes, but the Master remains at our side all the time. Things will be alright, don’t be afraid, have faith. Trust.
