Throughout life, you may have noticed some people that just seem to have an abundance of confidence.
How about you?
Have you ever felt anxious or nervous in certain situations?
Have you ever perspired through your shirt, from anxiety and nervousness during a job interview or a public presentation.
What would you say if I could show you how to tap into instant confidence, to help you navigate any situation?
First, let’s analyze just what confidence truly is.
Confidence is a belief.
A belief in a certain idea.
A belief in the idea that you can do something or that you are something.
Here’s where to start:
Information — Gather as much information and facts as you can, regarding the subject area inwhich you’re looking to build confidence.
The more information you digest, the more informed you become. This is the foundation of confidence in any area of knowledge.
Exercise — Implement, test, and confirm your knowledge and skill. Apply what you’ve learned to projects or real-world scenarios. Knowledge-in-action, reinforces your learning and further enhances your confidence in a subject matter.
Communities — Join communities virtually or in person. Sharing ideas and information, and partipating in discussions regarding the subject matter, provides you a measurement of your level of expertise and further sharpens your skill.
Iron sharpens iron!
Now here’s the ingredient that most are missing…
COURAGE.
In other words, you can be super confident about your knowledge, skills and abilities however, it ultimately requires the courage to step out and execute, display and share those abilities you’re so confident about.
The thing about courage is that, the only way to build it up is from experiences.
You can’t get around this. You just have to let the confidence motivate you enough to jump in and start participating in, or creating experiences for you to show and express your talents and abilities openly.
So what, you might fail at first. So what, people may criticize you. So what, you might make mistakes.
Everytime you step out there, your courage builds with each experience.
Guess what?
This courage you build, will be transferable to any other goal or objective you set out to accomplish.
Take a moment to ponder this:
Confidence is the knowing, while Courage is the doing.
Once you embrace this concept, your confidence will began to feed your courage, and your courage will reinforce your confidence continually.
Follow the steps mentioned above and apply the concept.
You’ll see your confidence level go right through the roof!
