I’ve been told on numerous occasions in a variety of different ways, that I in fact, know nothing. However, it takes some time for one to reach this conclusion on one’s own. Well folks, I’m there. After 50 years on this planet and after writing well over 70 pieces for this publication it has finally come to my attention that I know nothing.
Over the past two and a half years my writing here has covered topics ranging from gun rights to climate change, from white privilege to near-term human extinction and everything in between. After all of my pontificating, I have come to a place where ego still rules and blindness to reality still reigns.
So now what? I will continue to delve into the unknown since I’ve become an expert of not knowing. It will no longer take place here. I’ve enjoyed my time and the opportunity to speak freely but I’ve said enough. Lisa and Wilhelm have given me a platform and for that, I am extremely grateful. It has allowed me to grow. My friend Sindy provided support that cannot be measured. My small but loyal audience has been a gift.
The conversations will continue here and for me outside of this platform. I never say never so this may or may not be a permanent goodbye. Like I’ve said before, I just don’t know. My life continues to move in ways I never anticipated. I suppose that’s where the phrase, That’s Life comes from. I embrace it.
Thank you Good Men Project.
