Last week saw baseball’s first no-hitter of the 2020 MLB season, and it was the Chicago White Sox’ young ace, Lucas Giolito.
Giolito is a friend of Good Men Project Sports, and was kind enough to take some time to chat with us this past off-season. From our conversation, we know that he knows a little something about confidence and the ups and downs of developing as a pitcher in the Majors.
Last week he had it all working – a riding fastball that he was spotting on the corners and upper part of the zone and an absolutely un-hittable flutter of a change-up. It was an efficient, nasty, and dominant effort.
