The marginalization and the scamming of those who are “wishing upon a star” as they visualize a self-imposed, flawless existence; incessantly, and vigorously, wiping the dust off of numerous pairs of un-prescribed scratch-filled lenses that are permanently attached to their eyes seemed to have forgotten that they did not:
- Create one grain of sand;
- Create one tree;
- Construct one ocean, lake, creek, etc.;
- Produce one milliliter of water;
- Produce one snowflake;
- Create one living thing.
The tragedy is while remaining in a constant state of confusion, desperately, grasping at that all too familiar and elusive pipe dream their world is being changed right before their eyes with their assistance and they do not even recognize what is happening to them.
The “pied-piper” syndrome is in full effect.
Do we realize that to dismiss a human being and to pretend that they are not human or that they are not worthy of enjoying this great America you in essence have proclaimed to be the “OWNERS” of a creation that you had absolutely nothing to do with and that you have PLAGIARIZED your entire existence while residing in this great America that we share?
Sadly those individuals that were not born with a silver spoon in their mouths are the biggest losers in this ruse; they are gulping down this poisonous “Kool-Aid” by the gallons while convincing themselves that there is this a superior “race.”
Dare I say conspiracy theory, let’s examine this bold assertion.
The “middle” and “underclass” employment segments of this great American society are speedily being replaced with what is being sold to us as technological growth and the quest to improve working conditions. Yes, I said working conditions, how does a robot improve your working condition when you are not employed and/or you are underemployed because your “job” is being performed by a robot?
How does your teen learned work ethics when he or she attempts to enter the workforce via the “entry” level position when even the menial jobs only require you to mash a button?
How does one get off welfare and get a job when there are no jobs to be had, ethnicity, location, and often time education has absolutely nothing to do with one’s unemployment and or underemployment status?
Everyone is being displaced with automation, you can’t even make a telephone call and get a “live” human being, and you can’t even call your bank to inquire about your own money and get a “live” person before jumping through a series of hoops.
Is this great America attempting to create a permanent financial “underclass?” under the guise of “Making America Great Again?”
Do we consider the magnitude of these FALSE hopes and dreams and the hardships and the loss of employment that will ultimately and greatly affect a huge number of families in this great America, obviously the negative impact of this “movement” will not affect those that are making THEIR fortunes off of the American (PEOPLE) government these individuals are affectionately known to us all as politicians, they have the audacity to say things like “this is what the American people want” all the while showing disdain for and disparage those that must depend on the American government to provide sustenance for their children?
There is never a mention of their huge salaries, premium insurance policies, free education for their children, premium retirement packages, double standards of living, and the list goes on…
Who among us are afforded the opportunity to have a “crystal ball” whereby we can simply peer into the future and immediately know and recognize the cards that we will be dealt?
Who among us can say that we are mistake free and that some decisions that we have made in our lives did have or could have had catastrophic consequences?
To arrogantly espouse, applause and support statements like, “Make America Great Again” is reckless, thoughtless, and selfish. Unless you are one of the “silver spoon” babies, you have had to work for everything that you have and will have.
There are no secrets to success, no one started from scratch and built anything from scratch, simple logic refutes this misplaced statement.
Matters not whether you entered through; Ellis Island, the slave ship Jesus, sailed to the shores of America pre- Columbus, crossed the border, was a stow-a-way on a ship or used some other mode of transportation to call America home, you received some assistance from someone at some time and place other than from your family.
May I quote some of the things that I have heard individuals say?
My dad came to this country with one dollar ($1.00) in his pocket, and he pulled himself up by his bootstraps, started a business, and built our house with his bare hands… So…, he purchased land, purchased supplies, purchased equipment, etc., with only one dollar ($1.00)?
- No one has ever given me anything.
- I have a right to be in this country.
- My grandfather fought in two world wars.
- My daddy/mom worked two jobs.
- My dad/mom worked all of his/her life.
- My dad/mom provided for us and we never used government assistance.
When we loosely use the term “Make America Great Again,” there are an untold number of grandfathers. Fathers and mothers who hail from all ethnic backgrounds that can lay claim to all of the statements and hundreds more that are listed above.
