After weeks of trying to get my Facebook account back I received an unceremonious message that I was not fit for facebook.
Perhaps they found my two decades worth of photos watching my children growing up deemed unfit.
Perhaps it was one too many dog photos?
Maybe it was the few hundred dollars I spent on Facebook marketing for my small marketplace business that tipped them off on my unruliness.
Oh… oh I know! It must be the fact I’m a healthcare worker in the emergency department with marginalized patients dealing with mental health and addictions.
Perhaps I’ll just send a huge EFF-YOU FACEBOOK.
I’ve gone from over 300 friends (modest in comparison to many) to 70 friends of whom I’ve remembered their last names or aliases.
I miss my Facebook friends.
I miss the encouragement they filled me with daily, and how they supported my writing.
I was able to gain access to my profile and header photos, but not all the others. I’m not a tech person and have also lost photos on old phones and laptops.
I now have to accept that photos aren’t everything… even if they’re of my children and my dog named Max (who lived a long life).
I also lost access into my Twitter account, (I know it’s X…) but there’s still hope for that one.
If you have words of encouragement please share… sharing is caring…
Have you experienced anything like this?
