Mark faces another Viltrumite in ‘I Thought You’d Never Shut Up’
Last time on Invincible, Mark was shocked to find out Angstrom was somehow still alive. Not only was he back, but he had brought some friends with him. Other versions of Mark were released to Earth, and they were looking forward to causing all kinds of chaos. Mark and many heroes fought them, and there were lots of casualties on both sides. Eventually Mark faced Angstrom again, and this time he chose a different course of action. As this episode came to a close, it looked like Angstrom could be busy for a while. Now a powerful Viltrumite arrives on Earth in ‘I Thought You’d Never Shut Up’. I was able to watch a screener of this episode and here is what I thought of it.

With the world still reeling, a dangerous stranger arrives – testing Mark to his limits and beyond.
Mark is trying to help rebuild at the start of this episode. When a new Viltrumite arrives, he is more than happy to fight them. Turns out they are very strong and really want to take Mark down for good. Oliver tries to help Mark out, and it almost costs him dearly. After a while Eve shows up to help, and something awful happens to her. This causes Mark to lose control for a while, and this makes his foe quite pleased. Yet Mark’s mood changes when we see an unlikely event occur. As this episode comes to a close we find out someone has taken a huge risk, and it is unclear if it will pay off or not.
