Something tries to return in ‘Castlevania Nocturne’ season 2
I was blown away by how good the Castlevania animated show was. We saw a group of people come together to defeat an ancient and powerful foe. Many times things looked hopeless, but together they always found a way to persevere. As this series came to a close, you could see these adventures might not be finished yet. Castlevania Nocturne has been amazing and tells the next chapter in this story. It wasn’t a big shock when a season 2 was announced. I was able to get screeners for season 2 of this animated show and here is my thoughts on them.

You can read the plot for season 2 of Castlevania Nocturne here:
Now joined by the legendary Alucard, Richter Belmont and his band of vampire hunters are in a desperate race against time. Erzsebet Báthory, the Vampire Messiah, who already seems invincible, seeks the full power of the goddess Sekhmet so she can plunge the world into endless darkness and terror.

There seems to be a glimmer of hope at the start of this season. With Alucard, Richter and Annette might have a chance to stop a powerful being from coming back. When Drolta returns stronger than ever, this glimmer certainly does dim a tad. Yet when this team learns there might be a way to stop Erzsebet’s plans, they jump at the chance. It comes with serious risks, but if successful could mean stopping Erzsebet and Drolta once and for all. As this season nears the end, we see another deadly creature beaten, and life for these characters will never be the same.
