Daily Mo Update
Its day in and day out how I feel about my face. On the one hand, looking youthful can be a benefit but on the other hand it’s a tad uncomfortable. Strange looks at the playground, silly questions from the elder generation assuming I still live with my parents. Sometimes my youth is a burden when I want to be taken seriously. Then again….devilishly handsome.
Movember Awareness
I’m reminded every day how lucky I am to have people around me that love me. The problem with depression is that the first thing it affects is your memory of such things. You start thinking your alone and that’s when the real kicker happens. Thats when you start the spiral downward. In this modern age though we are gifted with the breadth and range of the internet as a tool, even the technology right in front of you can be used as a tool to find what you need—Help. We all need someone, and now we all have everyone. You are never alone.

Daily Mo Update
In an effort to increase facial hair growth, my body has sucked in some of the hair from my head.
Movember Awareness
“Limits begin where vision ends. Visualize success and give yourself permission to win.” This concept applies to sports, depression, social anxiety, and plenty else. Be positive and confident in yourself!

Daily Mo Update
Mo day 4. Somehow with very little sleep and very little food, my face is still finding the energy to grow my usual scruff. Another day and I might don a mask and hit up Star City, but for now, it’s to work I go!
Movember Awareness
Depression skews your perception of the world. Once beautiful things are tainted with the sting of apathy and you find that what usually brings you happiness and joy, brings nothing. Living with this on a daily basis and striving to manage it without the help of medicine, I find that there are three things that keep me going on a daily basis: Exercise, Friends, Accomplishment. These things by no means always work and sometimes I am just left tired, with everyone busy, and a basket of clean laundry that I hold as my biggest accomplishment of the day. But you know what… we all have days where doing the laundry is about all we can do, and that’s OK. Just remember that depression is an illness. It is an incorrect balance of the brain and it is NOT your fault. Stay strong. Stay positive. Get the help you need!

Daily Mo Update
The temperature dropped here in Utah, and naturally, I want to hibernate. This isn’t an option for me. I’ve had a cold for the last 3 weeks, but I’ve had to soldier on and keep working, and having commitments at home and in the community.
Men often ignore their health, thinking things are unimportant or will resolve themselves. This isn’t always the case.
I’ve had an undiagnosed groin pain for about 14 years. I’ve seen a bunch of doctors, had a battery of tests, all inconclusive. I do know it’s not cancer or an infection, and can treat it with over-the -counter pain meds.
