A few years ago, I fell in love. Sounds beautiful, right? But it ended up being the experience that shattered my world.
I found myself trapped in a toxic relationship, caught up with a narcissist.
Ever been there? It’s like stepping into a storm you didn’t see coming, one that sweeps you up and spins you around until you hardly recognize yourself.
Everything in my life started to crumble — my career, my health, my sense of self.
The relationship drained me so much that I resigned from my job, sold almost everything I owned, and eventually had to move back in with my family.
Imagine that: after years of fighting for my independence, I found myself right back where I started, feeling like I’d lost everything.
…
Last year was the hardest. Every single day, I was battling with procrastination.
I knew I needed to do something to help myself, but the weight of my situation held me down.
Sound familiar? It’s that inner struggle where you want to get up, you know you should, but you just can’t find the energy to even try.
Then, something happened.
One day, I picked up an old book and rediscovered my love for reading. Not long after, I started writing again.
These simple acts — reading and writing — became my lifeline, my way of processing all the emotional chaos I’d been carrying.
Slowly, little by little, I started to heal.
As I was healing, I realized that sharing my experience wasn’t just for me. It could help others, too.
Have you ever felt like your story could guide someone else? That’s what happened to me.
Not everyone can afford therapy; I certainly couldn’t. But I knew I could offer my story, my lessons, to anyone who might need it.
So, I began opening up, sharing what I’d been through, and before I knew it, I was guiding others through their own struggles.
To date, I’ve helped around 32 people find their way, and through helping them, my own healing grew deeper.
I still don’t have a steady job, and finances are tight. But here’s the thing — helping others gives me purpose.
It’s what gets me up each day, knowing that my pain wasn’t in vain.
You know that feeling when you realize that something good can come from all that hurt?
That’s what helping others has done for me. Guiding others toward healing is helping me rebuild my life, piece by piece.
If you’re feeling lost or stuck, don’t hesitate to reach out. I know how heavy emotional pain can be, and I’m here to remind you that you don’t have to face it alone.
…
Sometimes, the first step toward healing is just knowing there’s someone else out there who understands.
