You can take 100 people…
All desperate.
All needing the same thing.
All saying they’re ready.
Put them in a room.
Give them the blueprint.
Walk them step-by-step through exactly what to do.
Remove confusion.
Simplify the process.
Answer their questions before they even ask them.
And then sit back and watch what happens.
Because something always happens.
The numbers show up.
Some will leave the room inspired… and never move.
Some will say they’re going to start… and then get “busy.”
Some will overthink it to death, tweak it, adjust it, wait for the perfect moment that never comes.
Some will start… but not follow through.
Some will do it… but not fully.
Cut corners. Skip steps. Decide they know better.
And then there’s a very small group,
The ones who just do the damn thing.
The way it was taught.
With consistency.
Without drama.
Without needing it to feel perfect.
That group?
That’s where the results live.
Craig and I were talking about this this morning.
Because we’re in it right now.
We’ve got a few things moving in our life (new lanes, new growth, new levels) and one of them we’re about a month into actively… but with over a year and a half of study behind it.
Not dabbling.
Not guessing.
Not winging it.
Studying.
Learning.
Understanding the terrain before stepping into it.
And we were talking about someone we know who is stepping into something similar.
No study.
No real inquiry.
No slowing down to actually understand what they’re doing.
Just… go.
But not even a clean go.
More like a chaotic, sideways, half-informed, “I’ll figure it out as I go” kind of movement. Yes totally ass-backward.
And here’s the part that gets me, even after over two decades of human psychology and trainings from all sorts of things…
They’re not doing the foundational things.
The obvious things.
The things that, had they taken even a moment to learn or ask or listen…
Would have been clear.
And yet…
Those are the exact things they’re “too busy” to do.
No time for the basics.
No time for structure.
No time for the proven path.
But plenty of expectation for results.
This is where the numbers separate people.
Not desire.
Not need.
Behavior.
Because needing something doesn’t qualify you to receive it.
Wanting something doesn’t make you ready for it.
And being exposed to the path doesn’t mean you’ll walk it.
We just spent a few days in a room with about 150 people.
Different backgrounds.
Different stories.
Same underlying desire —
More.
More impact.
More alignment.
More legacy.
And what happened?
The numbers happened.
They always do.
You could feel it in the room.
Some people lit up… and you knew they’d move.
Some people nodded… but you could already feel the hesitation building.
Some were calculating.
Some were resisting.
Some were inspired for the moment… but not committed beyond it.
And some,
You just knew.
They were going to take what they learned… and apply it. Cleanly. Fully. Without needing to reinvent it.
It’s not complicated.
We just make it complicated.
There’s a verse that speaks directly to this:
“Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says.” — James 1:22
That’s it.
Not — listen, feel inspired, talk about it, think about it, post about it.
Do it. Just do it and do it and do it. (You’ve got to search up Art Williams Do It Speech. — seriously do it.)
But most people don’t.
And not because they can’t.
Because they won’t.
They won’t follow the structure.
They won’t stay consistent.
They won’t humble themselves enough to follow a proven path.
Ego steps in fast.
I can do this better.
I don’t need all that.
I’ll just tweak it a bit.
I’ll start tomorrow.
And just like that, just like that…
They step out of alignment with the very thing they said they wanted.
Napoleon Hill said it perfectly:
“Don’t wait. The time will never be just right.”
But people wait anyway.
They wait for clarity.
They wait for confidence.
They wait for conditions.
And in that waiting…
They stay exactly where they are.
Results are predictable.
Not random.
Not luck-based.
Not selectively handed out.
Predictable.
If you follow a proven system…
With consistency…
Over time…
You will get results.
Maybe not instantly.
Maybe not perfectly.
But predictably.
And if you don’t?
If you half-step it…
If you skip parts…
If you start and stop…
If you let emotion dictate your action…
You will also get results.
Just not the ones you want.
This is where quantum truth actually aligns with all of this. ( I love when faith and science marry)
Because at its core,
Reality responds to what is consistently held and acted upon.
Not occasionally wished for.
Not briefly attempted.
But consistently embodied.
Joe Dispenza talks about this when he says:
“You can’t create a new future by holding on to the emotions of the past.”
And I’d take that a step further even…
You can’t create a new future by holding on to old habits of inconsistency, avoidance, and ego.
It doesn’t matter how good the opportunity is.
It doesn’t matter how clear the path is.
It doesn’t matter how badly you want it.
If you don’t follow through…
the outcome is already decided.
This might get frustrating to here this but its just the truth, lived and learned here.
They say:
“It didn’t work.”
But what they really mean is…
“I didn’t work it.”
There’s a difference.
A big one, right.
Because the system isn’t what failed.
The follow-through did.
And listen… I’ve been on every side of this.
The excuse maker.
The overthinker.
The one who starts and doesn’t finish.
The one who thinks I know better.
I’ve lived those numbers too.
But at some point, you either keep cycling through that…
Or you decide —
To become the person who finishes.
Who follows instructions.
Who stays consistent.
Who doesn’t need it to feel good to keep going.
That’s the shift.
Not in what you want.
But in who you are while pursuing it.
Because at the end of the day…
You can put 100 people in a room.
Give them everything they need.
Spell it out step-by-step.
And still…
Only a small few will actually do it.
Cleanly. Fully. Consistently.
The numbers are the numbers.
They don’t lie.
They don’t bend.
They don’t care how much you want it.
They reveal who you’re being.
So, the real question isn’t…
Do you want it?
Most people do.
The question is…
Which group are you in?
Are you actually doing the work on the “THING”… or just talking about it?
Comment “doing” or “delaying” below.
Then share this with someone who needs the reality check.
As always loving and praying for you and our world,
