Bequeath the salt of the truest mark, a spirit longing to express. Pour off the wrath of a gentle mask as it hangs heavy upon the face of a quietly spiteful man. Collapse cold beneath the pinnings of a trap laid so well it ensnares the very man who laid it.
I run in circles begging the ride to give way, hoping for a new path. Yet upon its emergence, I retreat back to the cozy suffocation of a blanket wrapped too tightly. How do I break out of the bonds of this vicious grip?
The rain beats the roof like a relentless reminder of the hubris of man laying plans for his destined future. An equation incomplete without the looming sulk of Chaos as it rips through, grinning its irreverent grin.
It isn’t all bad when faced with change, and one must learn to lean towards the discomfort so that he may begin to bring it into himself. Only then will the first step from the ride seem less foreign and only then will he not fall, still thrust forward upon the preexisting momentum.
I am not powerless to the forces that work their magic for it is Magick itself that gives me the tools to play as a character in the great comedy. Ritual and Intention hold steady their own weight if we so choose to establish resonance in them.
I remember the many great collisions that have grown from a heart singing the praises of what will come, holding loosely to the absolutism a mind sought in hopes of safety. It is far too long and incredible a ride to try to control it’s every movement.
We must for once, let go and climb into the co-pilot position offering our navigational prowess and yet lay ourselves humble to the choices of greater forces at play.
