As you can guess from the photo above, I am not here to talk about Covid-19.
And no I am not here to talk about all the mistakes that we have done throughout history, including two world wars that consumed souls that could’ve lived, had we not been so thirsty for power and control.
I am here to talk about a phenomenon, (not the right word), a man made catastrophe that is impacting our lives for worse.
You know, George Carlin, (a very famous comedian) once said:
“I hear all these people talking about saving the planet. We haven’t learned to care for one another, we’re going to save the ‘innaudible’ planet?!
The planet has been through meteor showers, asteriod impacts, gama radiation and magnetic fields shifts and it is still here. The planet is fine. We are going away!”
Folks, that is the truest statement that I have ever heard when it comes to climate change.
You see, as long as we keep referring to it as ‘saving the planet’, we will only prolong our behaviorual change to actually doing something about it.
No, I think we should refer to it as, ‘saving ourselves’, from the doom that we are bringing to humanity.
We are fragile creatures that cannot live without oxygen, water, food, and we have a delicate skin that tend to burn in temperatures higher than the norm.
And what are we doing about it?
We are setting things on fire!
That’s right.
Hard working, civilized people that are creating these wildfires you see all over the news, because they either want to clear their land from all the bushes, or because someone on top told them to do so.
How do I know all of this? I’m glad you asked, (you didn’t but I will still make my point for those few of you who are willing to listen).
Man Made Wild Fires
If you go on YouTube, the algorithm is all bad.
Even though you might a die hard rock fan, you will still get suggested videos of some people riding on a big boat, while looking at their homes getting burned and the only thing they’re doing about it is… recording.
Oh well, someone has to put the video out there, isn’t that right?
Besides this logic, which is stupid in my opinion, did you know that these wild fires are actually created from us.
The Greek Island Artificial Fire
A video has been surfing on the internet lately, showing a ship full of people who are hopelessly looking at their ‘ex-homes’ getting burned to the ground.
Along with their homes, the whole island of Evia got burned like a steak.
The Nightmare of Evia, they label it on the news.
But a few people actually know this fire was man made. Now, I don’t have proof to back up this claim.
However, there are locals who have mentioned here and there that the massive wild fire started from a few ‘farmers’ who set their lands on fire to clear them from the bushes so they could replant them next year.
A few people have been arrested in Greece for this, since those couple of lands, have ignited one massive ball of fire that killed 100 people, injured hundreds and left thousands without a home.
Not to mention the biological damage done to the surrounding area.
If you think 43 degrees Celsius is too hot for you, try living at a place where the Sun is out of sight, the skies are dark and the temperatures are so high, you could easily pass out in a couple of hours.
Not to mention the unbreatheable air.
Something similar to this happened in my hometown, no longer than 3 weeks ago.
The Artificial Flames of a 2000sqm Landfill
I hadn’t been to my parents home in only three weeks, yet the last time I went there, they told me the shocking events that occurred during my absence.
There’s this landfill just outside of the city, where litter has been depositing for nearly 50 years. We are talking about mountains of litter and trash all over a 2000 square meter field.
One day the landfill caught on fire. It was the kind of fire that has hidden flames yet produces a lot of smoke.
In a matter of days the whole city was covered by a thin cloud of smoke.
As far as the locals told me, you could barely breathe outside.
The sky was almost dark and the Sun was invisible for three days!
It was almost like a scene from the Interstellar movie, just real.
This city is known for being the brightest city in the Balkans. With 300 sunny days per year, the temperatures there always reach a peak of 41 degrees during summer.
Yet, this summer was different.
Due to the high pollution caused from the burning landfill, the temperatures rose to a shocking level of 45 degrees, causing a greenhouse effect all over the city.
The people were literally isolated inside their homes for like 10 days.
Who Lit Up the Landfill?
Well, rumor has it that a powerful politician had bought the land just recently. The major’s office had already prepared another space to be the upcoming landfill.
This politician, (whose name I cannot mention), will build a hotel on the old landfill. Yet, there was a problem. All the litter had to be transported somewhere, and that can get ‘costly’.
So, they figured out the easiest way to get rid of all the trash.
Burn them, with no one to blame but the ‘heat wave’.
That’s how the news channels justified the burning landfill. But we know the truth is completely different.
About The Greenhouse Effect
Now, global warming aside, because we already know the damage that fossil fuel burning has caused to our air.
We are going to see another, more damaging thing that we are doing to our nature and eventually, to ourselves.
Burning forests to the ground and lighting up landfills, causes the nearby areas to isolate into a burning air inferno.
All the smoke that comes out of these mad-made events, gets trapped around the area, causing it to transform into some kind of a greenhouse.
And don’t let the name fool you.
Despite it sounding ‘good’ the greenhouse effect is the worst thing that humans are doing.
Final Thoughts
Mad-made fires are a real world wide problem in the world today. Those videos you have seen where the skies are red and people are bearly breathing are more than real.
This smoke pollution creates a blazing greenhouse effect on the surrounding areas, not to mention the increased risk of cancer for anyone who inhales the smoke.
What can we do to stop this?
STOP SETTING THINGS ON FIRE.
I may be harsh but I think for the future of our generations. I have a niece and a nephew who are 5 and 3 right now. If they are to inherit the Earth as we did, the change needs to start now.
