Everyone has bad days. Even when you decide to live a happy life, there are days that your insecurities win. The type of days that you want to quit, you don’t get out of bed and everything looks far from yourself.
Although dreadful days appear to be, they can be manageable. These are the things that will confront you and have a good impact on your psychology during your mental breakdown.
It’s okay not to feel ok
First of all, as happy and delightful days exist, so the bad and unpleasant do. With critical thinking against your bad mood, there won’t be any progress. However, welcome that poor mood of yours and just sit together. It won’t be as horrible as you think.
Everything is temporary
The first mistake you make when you are feeling depressed is that you think it will last forever. By this way of thinking, you expand your energy to feel that way in a longer period than it would. Life isn’t permanent-term, neither do you.
Take your time
During this insecure time, do what your body needs to feel better: go for a walk to clear your mind, take a shower to wash away this yucky emotion, sleep to rest your body. The rest time isn’t wasted time. Spoil yourself because he needs it.
Spend some time alone
This sounds similar to the previous one, but I separate them to make it more evident and clear. In a world that is always something going on, that you always need to be somewhere and do something, you can get easily lost. In a world full of sounds you may stop hearing your own. Thus, experiencing your alone time is the greatest gift to know, help and feeling yourself.
You are enough
In case anyone hasn’t told you so I just did. I know you trying your best. So hold on and believe in yourself like never before.
Most of the time, you wait for someone to come and pick you out of the mud of your thoughts and just tell you what you need. If anyone is there to do so, simply be that person by yourself. Comfort yourself, relieve yourself and be present to help others in need.
