Times are tough right now. Yes, in Life we all have tough times. It’s during these times my spiritual fitness practices help me the most. Once in awhile during these times when it looks bleakest, I get a wink and that propels my faith to levels I cannot put into words.
I made a sacrifice over two years ago with the Humble Warrior Project and I’m paying the price for it. I’m at peace with it as it’s the right thing to do for my highest good and in turn will be best for everyone that I’m associated with from my family, friends and all the Humble Warriors I look forward to connecting with on this journey.
I’m hustling and doing whatever it takes to support my family to get this book off the ground. I’m close and yet it seems so far. Out of a necessary need, I started to Uber a week ago and it has been an enlightening experience. I needed to take action as I know the next door has opened and I’m patiently waiting for the right time- My TIME.
I have questioned these steps and have been looking for clarity and some hints that all is going according to plan. Not my Plan. God’s Plan. Within the past two days, I received a little wink that all is going the right way.
First, out of nowhere my daughter asked me to meditate with her for five minutes. We went into our meditation room and turned off the lights. Within in a minute or two a passing thought came through my mind which led me to a prayer- am I on the right path? Soon as that happened the light turned on! My daughter looked at me with amazement. Dad how did that happened? I smiled at her and said someone is watching over us. God’s Wink.
Second, the next night I was driving a young man who asked why are you driving? A common question I’ve been receiving during trips. I simply said I’m hustling to make some cash to finish the final edit for my book. He asked, what is your book about? And I replied, it’s an inspirational memoir/spiritual self-help book. He was intrigued and we discussed in detail the overall message, my relationship with God and the spiritual fitness techniques I practice. When we finished the discussion and the ride was almost over, he asked what is the title of the book? I said The Humble Warrior. He said no way, that’s my last name! I said what? Yes, my last name is Humble. I said my brother you made my night, gave him a fist pump, dropped him off and smiled all the way home. God’s Wink.
Keep the faith, and keep going when it may seem bleak. You’re not alone. The most powerful force is with you always. We all have a piece of it. Embrace it and Trust in it.
Live Brave,
Chris
