I want to sing a song of peace and resolution. I want a healing of my world and an opening of our universal heart to create wholeness. I want the love of mankind and womankind to rise up in echoes of remembrance of what we could be in the true grace of unity. This is a calling for a conversation, a calling for a nurturing environment which fosters the value of our individual voices and the power of nurturing another’s gift of being human on this planet. I want inspiration of humankind to sing its song.
In these transitional and troubling times, tension has become a way of life. Living in this constant state of tension and fear can produce within the human spirit entities of stress and anxiety-ridden, reactionary behavior. We find ourselves no longer in the flow of life, but in the rebounds of life, singing a broken record, not a song of balance and healing. To create balance in one’s life the creation of the state of fusion of heart and thought creates a state of peace. The hope of peace within and without is only the beginning of the process of being in a nurturing environment.

The metaphor of a garden comes to mind. It takes the prepping of the ground, the seeding, the watering and the weeding. To have a bountiful garden takes a daily routine of action because action speaks louder than words. Being in action means developing a plan, an execution in action and then the follow through to the conclusion. The conclusion includes a daily maintenance that allows the plants of the garden to bloom after germination and flowering. The fruits of the garden depend on what has been planted. You see the proof in the fragrance of the flowering garden.
The mind is like a garden waiting to be planted. The words that produce thoughts that become ideas soon become the actions our mind and body come to execute. The environment of the mind is created by our conscious and ongoing maintenance. It becomes a daily maintenance of a living meditation for internal peace and balance.

I am a man of meditation and I am in the midst of roofers hammering over my head as I am writing this article. My usual method of the morning is one being immersed in the quiet of the morning as I call for my inner peace to appear, which allows me to create. At first, I stood in fear of not having the perfect environment to practice my sense of peace. I then realized my sense of peace does not depend on the perfection of my outside environment. My peace has to come from within. Because of my daily practice, I know how to step up for the challenge. If I wanted to have peace within, I had to be the agent of change and flow like a river. I had to be the maker of my own internal peace. I had to accept life on life’s terms. If I wanted peace, I had to be peace.
As the roofers pounded and chattered, I played my meditation music loudly and tuned my mind to my known place of internal belonging. I could not focus on the noise of the roofers but had to focus on their purpose and the benefits that were coming to me. I focused on my purpose of being in a state of production to write this article to examine what is the true state of internal peace.
I light my incense, put on my music and began my process of slowing down my mind to become present and focus on my task at hand. It was time to create an environment of expansion for myself to know myself and the truths of my environment more deeply. It was a time to not allow any outside occurrences, experiences stop me from my goal of being a facilitator of change. It was time for me to become more centered within myself to learn how to transmute the story of my challenge in front of me and turn it into words of wisdom for me to share. In the midst of the story, I learn to create the environment for the voice I needed to speak from within, from my place of belonging. Now It was time to create the article and water my own garden of change.

The problematics of the modern world do not wait on us to create the perfect environment to create the change that it waiting to be. Life is happening as we speak and the words and thoughts that we speak create the ideas that have the capacity to nurture the change. The moment of change is now and in the midst of doing life organically, we find the answers to life.
Life is an ongoing conversation we have to be a part of because it is life in a living lesson. We as human beings have to find our part in this human story. I am willing to speak our part. Our voice is ours to use because our individual voice has a purpose and an opportunity to be in harmony with the ongoing human choir. I believe as we sing we find the right notes, the phrases, and tones in the midst of our song being given to us. These are the seeds to be planted in our living garden.
Without daily nurturing, we would not know of the right time to be present for the birthing and the opportunity to bloom with faith and trust. It is a practice of living that allows us to know a pathway to find our way home to ourselves, our dreams and our hopes of being.
As I finish this article, I feel I am experiencing the miracle of a daily practice of showing up for life with a mindset of being in solution, not focusing on what makes me feel powerless. I choose to focus on what is powerful within my personal voice and within this environment, I can nurture a strong and effective voice of change.
