“Let it be still, and it will gradually become clear.”
—Lao Tzu, Tao Te Ching
When designing your life, plan for expansion while understanding that change will occur. Everything is always changing. Believe that everything is changing for the better, and it will. Trust that more is possible, and it is. Become aware of yourself and what’s happening around you.
Open up to self-realization. Numbing yourself in one way or another won’t let you see the pure beauty of change. Open up to what is waiting to come to fruition for you. See it and acknowledge it.
You can. Believe that way better is possible. Why wouldn’t it be that way for you?
Numbness is comfortable. We are in search of the opposite. We need to feel alive. Being alive and “becoming” causes friction and movement. Comfort doesn’t move you anywhere. Friction and turbulence take you places.
No hard feelings. I like to move on from situations that don’t “feel” right to me. I have no “hard” feelings against the experience… I just know when it’s time to move in a different direction. No hard feelings, but moving on—moving forward. Only your thinking will make “something” happen. We like to think that “things” happen to us, but it’s us that are doing the “things.”
To change what we want to change, we need to think about what it is that we want. Terence McKenna says, “The syntactical nature of reality, the real secret of magic, is that the world is made of words. And if you know the words that the world is made of, you can make of it whatever you wish.” If you think of what you want to do or have, the mind will create it. Our minds are always creating.
Never struggle. It’s not supposed to be hard. Life. Instead of dealing with a complicated issue, walk through the obstacle. Be much bigger than it. If someone is yelling at you, be larger than that person—in your mind. Listen and walk away, or calmly nod and say, fine. It’s been said that the best defense is your two feet—so you can walk away. Make whatever you want easy in your mind. Enjoy your life. Be happy. Develop a “calm sense of perfect peace.”
Decide not to be needy. You will be more attractive in all ways if you are self-sufficient. Independence is necessary. Self-reliance is worth researching and putting into your life.
Work on your inner self-talk. What you say to yourself is a key to moving forward. Talk to yourself about your self-worth. Tell yourself how good you are. Telling yourself about your greatness isn’t weird. It’s good practice. Lose the awkward feelings of self-consciousness.
Create a new mental picture of yourself being worth more. You can erase old negative programming and replace it with a healthy, new positive productive, programming.
Take advice from others with a grain of salt. Use what works and get rid of what doesn’t. Trust yourself and think uniquely. Other people are on their own path. They can help you, but know what it is that you need. Listen to yourself. Be proactive––not reactive.
Don’t lose your cool. Once you have that coolness in effect, expand upon it and make it even better.
Be you—no regrets. Don’t give up on your life and future visions for any reason. Even if you are the most ambitious person in your family, house, neighborhood, city––keep moving! You will lead by example. Don’t give up. Giving up is what separates those who win and those who do not. Keep going. Learn from any mistakes.
Think bigger. Figure out how you can become more.
Spend time thinking about your personal talents. Instead of saving up, start thinking of how you could give your talents out more. You’ll start to think more productively and resourcefully. Thinking this way will help you to start relying on yourself.
Make a new vow with yourself that you will not lose or compromise your authenticity—your greatness. Vow to be the ultimate you on your own terms.
“The world as we have created it is a process of our thinking. It cannot be changed without changing our thinking.”
––Albert Einstein
