We noted on our Twitter feed that DC editor "Eddie Berganza hinted that the company's dropping Milestone news on Sunday." This came as a surprise to writer John Rozum, who posted this on Facebook …
Considering that I have no idea what it could be, it should be surprising–including to the folks running Milestone.
To my knowledge a new title has not been approved of at Milestone's end. My only guess is that they'll be incorporating Static into the Titans, or something, which you think they'd tell me. Considering that I found out the final word on Xombi, not from the mouth of someone at DC but via news from Comic Con, I wouldn't be surprised. I can tell you that none of the big changes with Static Shock (such as relocating him to NYC) were run by Milestone first for approval. To my knowledge they still haven't.
Maybe they're dropping the license.
Uh, DC … what up? We're watching this story closely.

*facepalm*
Why is it that everybody has this reaction but a) people keep doing business with them and b) the fans still support them?
I am shocked, SHOCKED to learn that DC might not be dealing in a forthright and sensible manner with Rozum, Static, and/or Milestone. What is the world coming to?
