The United States of America isn’t the worst country in the world. Although, it isn’t the best country either. It annoys me to hear the USA called the greatest nation in the world. If you have never spent time abroad, you may actually believe that you’re living in the greatest nation on Earth.
It has been more than 10 years since I pledged allegiance to the flag. I don’t regret it. Despite my resistance to pledging allegiance to the flag, I’m grateful to be born in the United States.
Despite the luck of having some of my inherited rights suspended at birth, there’s one thing that I appreciate more than anything else. My passport!
I can live in almost every country in the world. Unfortunately, the current state of my country has encouraged me to enjoy life in places, where I’m welcome, respected, and treated equally.
In my humble opinion, the United States of America is a first world failure. The proclaimed world’s greatest nation is a failure. If you don’t believe me, you need to look how the country ranks in comparison to other countries.
According to the most recent statistics, the United States ranks #38 in mathematics, #43 in life expectancy, and #45 in press freedom.
The land of the free doesn’t appear to be the ultimate freedom haven for journalists and news organizations. As a result, it affects the media’s ability to deliver the truth to the masses.
The leader of the free world doesn’t offer an environment that promotes maximum life expectancy. As a result, Americans need to travel outside of the United States to get life-saving treatments.
The USA doesn’t invest enough in mathematics for the benefit of its citizens. As a result, the mediocre standard of mathematics limits Americans’ career potential.
Some people would suggest to stop talking and start voting. I voted with my feet!
