However, those who ascribe to the QAnon conspiracy theory think just that. QAnon, named after a series of posts on 4chan and 8chan from an individual (or individuals) calling himself (or herself or themselves) “Q,” posits, among other things, that Trump is working to expose a massive network of pedophiles that has infiltrated the federal government. Theories only get weirder from there, with some alleging that Trump has acquired tapes of figures such as Hillary Clinton and philanthropist George Soros torturing children. Others think that Q is none other than John F. Kennedy Jr., who died in 1999. Some might call QAnon beyond fake news, but at least 40 percent of Twitter users are positive on the conspiracies, while 60 percent think QAnon is a pile of rubbish. –Hugo Guzman
