110-Year-Old Gets a Sixth Shot at Love

Has there ever been a more meaningless 28-year age difference?

Ahmad Mohamad Isa, a 110-year-old single Malaysian man, recently told the newspaper Utusan Malaysia that he was still on the market, looking to marry a woman to keep him company and take care of him.

Ahmad said:

It is lonely to live alone and I am afraid to sleep alone. If I have a wife she can take care of me.

Well, Ahmad’s interview caught the eye of one 82-year-old Sanah Ahmad, a 30-year widow and mother of nine. Willing to meet his requirements, she asked her children to contact Ahmad’s family to make marital arrangements. Sanah said she was attracted to Ahmad because of his stark resemblance to her late husband and the fact that both men share the same name.

Ahmad, whose daughter will discuss the details with Sanah’s family, told the newspaper that he was happy and surprised at the news of Sanah’s interest: “It doesn’t matter who she is, as long as she can cook for me.”

There really is nothing like the honesty of a divorced 110-year-old four-time widower.
