- Joe Jonas topped a list of 62 male celebrities
- Others analyzed include Taylor Swift’s beau Travis Kelce and actor Justin Theroux
- Travis’s brother, Jason, was much further down than his sibling
A new study has determined the most attractive male celebrities, according to AI.
QR Code Generator examined the nominees from People’s Readers’ Choice Poll for the Sexiest Men Alive of 2024 and used an AI-powered website to see who, among the 62 male stars, was the sexiest. It used the top pictures of each man from Google Images to determine the rankings.
The tool placed the Jonas Brothers member Joe Jonas at the top with an impressive 9.81 rating.
Those who didn’t quite make it to number one but were in the top five included Maluma, who came in second with an attractiveness score of 9.15, Ryan Gosling was third and scored 8.98, Glen Powell was fourth and scored 8.88, and Joey McIntyre was fifth with 8.72.
Interestingly, two sets of brothers made the list, and the AI tool placed each of them rather far apart. Taylor Swift’s beau, NFL player Travis Kelce, landed himself in 37th place with a score of 6.74, meanwhile, his sibling and New Heights podcast co-host Jason ranked 17 slots lower, in 53rd place, with an attractiveness score of 5.33.
Euphoria actor Jacob Elordi didn’t make the top 10 despite the buzz around the star on social media.
Several other prominent A-list names were analyzed, such as Denzel Washington, who placed 55th with 5.11 attractiveness, Hugh Jackman, who placed 43rd with 6.50, and Ethan Hawke, who placed 22nd with 7.55.
Some newer faces didn’t quite make the top 10, such as Irish actor and boyfriend of Sabrina Carpenter, Barry Keoghan, in 27th place with an attractiveness score of 7.40, Australian singer and actor Troye Sivan in 20th with 7.57, and Shaboozy in 39th with a score of 6.67.
Footloose actor Kevin Bacon came in last with a score of just 4.48. The AI described the 66-year-old as “unique and beautiful” in his “own way.”
Talking about the findings, a spokesperson for QR Code Generator said, “Using AI to determine the most attractive male star means we can see how, through algorithms and computer-generated predictions, A-list celebrities and emerging stars rank in the entertainment industry.
Of course, it may not be accurate and may have biases and limitations, but it’s interesting how AI intercepts attractiveness. For example, known heartthrobs like Harry Styles and Justin Bieber are nowhere near the top.
