‘Transformers One’ is now in theaters
As a kid, I had a few Transformers toys. I can’t say I watched the cartoon from the 80’s much, but the toys were fun to play with. Most of the Transformers films have been good, and Transformers: Rise of the Beasts was better than I thought it would be. When I saw the first trailer for Transformers One I hoped it would be a good movie. I was able to attend a screening of this film and here is my thoughts on it.
You can read the plot for Transformers One here:
Hear the untold origin story of Optimus Prime and Megatron, better known as sworn enemies, but once were friends bonded like brothers who changed the fate of Cybertron forever.
This film features a star-studded voice cast, including Chris Hemsworth, Brian Tyree Henry, Scarlett Johansson, Keegan-Michael Key, Steve Buscemi with Laurence Fishburne and Jon Hamm.
Transformers One gets 8.5/10. The animation was superb, and the story was a true joy to watch unfold. There was tons of action and a few cool surprises as this story moved along. Once this movie came to a close, Cybertron was never going to be the same.
