The Cerritos must replace a part in ‘Starbase 80?!’
Last time on Star Trek: Lower Decks, Mariner decided to help an old friend out. She wanted to help them get a position back, but this ended up being harder than she thought. To try and get their honor back, her and three others had to endure some challenging trials. While this was going on, Dr. Migleemo was nervous because the Cerritos was having two guests arriving from their home world. He desperately wanted to make a good first impression, and this proved to be a difficult task. As this episode came to a close Dr. Migleemo made a shocking discovery about their guests. Now the Cerritos badly need a part for the ship in ‘Starbase 80?!’. I was able to watch this episode and here is my thoughts on it.

A part on the Cerritos starts acting up at the beginning of this episode. It looks like they will need to find a replacement which forces them to stop at the dreaded Starbase 80. Mariner doesn’t want to go back there, but it looks like they have no choice. The captain and Ransom try to find someone while the Lower Deckers get a tour of this place. While the tour is going on strange things start happening to the crew of the Cerritos. Mariner fears it is a part of some curse, while Boimler isn’t so sure. Turns out something else is going on, and stopping it takes some quick thinking by Mariner. Once this episode comes to a close the Cerritos gets the part they need and the starbase seems to have a new crew-mate.
