Moaning, Crying and Barking comically documents the struggles some people with autism go through in their day to day lives. From loud, disruptive noises, the inability to control others actions and often feeling invisible, the character escapes his irritability with the real world by drawing and disposing of the things that become all too much.
Chris Butler is new to filmmaking, taking inspiration from his own experiences to write and direct Moaning, Crying and Barking. He is part of The Misfits Theatre Company, based in Bristol which is a theatre and social group, led by People with Learning Disabilities.
