Discovering dance as a 15-year-old gave Tashan a positive focus. Now he leads and choreographs the street dance group, Unity UK, which he started in 2005 to help young people stay off the streets and out of trouble. Tashan believes that dance can help anyone, and his award-winning troupe of 12 to 25 year olds perform pieces that aim to tackle issues such as gun crime, knife crime and domestic violence.
