This season in our family is one of coaching and guiding. I’m trying to impart on my children the lesson that serving one another in our home is an important part of how we take care of each other. As far as I am concerned, cleaning skills are social skills. When my children leave my home some day, I want to know that they not only know how to take care of themselves, but the people around them. Theo has a new cleaning routine and it’s giving me cleaning motivation! Watching them grow, learn, prosper, and taking responsibility brings so much pride to my heart. Watching Theo rise to the occasion and feeling like some of my coaching skills are helping his character take shape is an immeasurable gift.
