If a man has never had a good example of how to be a father, can he ever be a good father himself?
Can a man negate the adverse experiences with his own father, those etched deeply and stubbornly in his memory, enough to believe in his own ability to be a father?
Can he ever shrug off the blanket of insecurity that covers him?
Does his fear of failing at fatherhood ever fade?
Is he ever able to erase the mistakes that the fathers in his family that have come before him have made?
Is it truly possible to be a better father to his children than his father was to him?
Will the mistakes of his own father live on forever in the way he behaves as a father? Or can he shake off the childhood ghosts?
Does a good father these days need a different skill set than the fathers who have gone before them? A modern-day father’s role is a constantly changing one, so how does he learn how to be the kind of father he needs to be?
Is paternal instinct a thing?
Are men ever prepared for fatherhood?
What makes a good father anyway?
How does a father learn to accept that his version of fatherhood is enough in his children’s eyes?
