There are two things in life that a man is often ‘committed’ to; an insane asylum and marriage. Choose wisely.
Got to disagree with the Nietzche quote. My ex and I never stopped being friends–even now, 5 months after the divorce became final–but the love was gone for years before the split.
You both can be right: Friendship helps marriages, but you can still be friends with someone it didn’t workout with.
Realize you are not you.
You are part you and part them.
