Kind words and small acts matter more than you might think. to your partner as well.
Some men struggle to convey their emotions effectively. The may not be particularly vocal. They wear robust manly armor. However, good communication is a learned skill. In a happy and harmonious couple relationship, there are things it is helpful for both partners to hear. If you recognize these and practice them, you can easily weave them into your daily life.
Even if your partner won’t tell you, here are eight things they may want to hear from you. Although these things are equally useful for either gender, men may benefit from both hearing them and speaking them.
“I rely on you!”
A relationship cannot survive without trust. You are demonstrating to your partner that your relationship is solid and healthy by expressing that you trust them.
“It’s doable!”
You might not have anticipated this, but even men require support. You’ll be amazed at how happy he will be when you assure him that he will prevail even in difficult office circumstances.
You will assist him in overcoming obstacles and improving his self-esteem.
“I’m going to surprise you!”
Men also enjoy surprises and spontaneity. To make him happy, you don’t have to go out of your way: When he’s having a hard day, all you have to do is leave him a note, cook him something delicious, or buy him his favorite dessert. His entire day will soon change before your eyes.
“I’m pleased with you!”
Men, perhaps even more so than we women, value praise. Tell him you’re proud of him whenever he does a good deed or achieves a goal, whether it’s about the job or your relationship.
He’ll gain even more self-assurance and be motivated by you.
“You cheer me up!”
Express your feelings if you are genuinely content with him. He will be proud of him and will work even harder to improve your relationship.
Don’t keep your emotions to yourself only when he is wrong. Show him how much you love him and how he makes you happy with his good deeds.
“I’m grateful!”
When he does something nice for you or helps you with something, say thank you very well.
Show him that you value his involvement in your relationship and how hard he works.
“You look fabulous!”
Don’t be afraid to tell him that he looks good — men are also in need of compliments. He will give it a lot of thought and will be grateful for your confidence.
“I’m supporting you!”
He appears to be strong, but he is also vulnerable at times. Demonstrate that you are there for him and that he can surrender to you.
Your partner will value a trustworthy person who understands their feelings. In trying times, you will bring him peace and comfort, and he will do the same for you.
