is there anything you want to add to

that that conversation that last video i

did i did a video talking about how to

start figure out even how to start a

plan was there any objections or

anything you wanted to add to that i

definitely don’t have any objections do

you want me to speak from the

receiving end of it or

i mean just anything you have to add or

if you don’t have anything it’s okay

i don’t put you on the spot

yeah

no i don’t have anything to add i think

that um

i do think it is important to have an

idea of where you want to go i feel like

we’ve kind of swapped

places in life

where it’s like she needs a five-year

plan

i don’t know if i need well yeah i do i

i know the things that i want to do but

sometimes it’s just hard to prioritize

where you want to go and what what now

looks like on your way you know

and so i feel like even i mean for

everyone i think mentorship is very

important and

um

i’ve seen the difference that it’s made

in glenn’s

life and his journey and so

yeah i guess i would just say ditto and

reiterate everything

you’ve already

said okay

great uh so i’m gonna actually talk

about the plan that we have um

i know you came in here to spend a

little time with me

but i’m gonna make this video real quick

no you can stay

you stay i’m cool with you

okay so

uh talking about our plan all right you

have to ask yourself a set of questions

that are gonna get you to the

destination okay the first question is

where do you want to be all right you

have to think about where you want to be

in the future right so

what kind of life do you want to live

what what kind of vacations you want to

take what kind of problems do you want

to have right i remember talking to

somebody a long time ago my wife was

like i want a nanny i want this and this

and i’m like man she’s trying to get it

man he’s trying to get a housekeeper i

was like we can’t afford that you know

what i’m saying and then mahoney was

like look man if you get a nanny then

maybe your wife’s problems change and

instead of figuring out who’s gonna

watch the kids you’re thinking about

what vacations are you gonna take and

that’s really the question like i really

my problems have changed now right so we

have someone to watch the kids and stuff

like that and so we have different

problems um so figure out where you want

to be the second question is what

problem do you want to solve okay what

issue in the world do you feel like you

want to take advantage of and solve that

problem one thing that i was thinking

about was fatherlessness right like i

didn’t never want to be a parent because

i thought

kids were like a nuisance you know what

i’m saying but when i realized like man

this has actually made me a better

person i wanted to tell people all about

that so i wanted to solve the problem of

fatherlessness uh and so i figured that

i can help with that situation so i

figured out okay this is the problem i

want to solve uh who is the problem

affecting it’s affecting everybody right

fatherlessness is affecting everybody

and so what you end up doing is you find

the people that you want to help

and you end up creating the people that

will also be a part of the same mission

and journey that you’re on okay so you

figure out where you want to be you

figure out what problem you want to

solve you figure out who this problem is

affecting and then you find out where

their attention is okay so wherever

these people are

they are being affected by this problem

but what are they paying attention to

where do they congregate

what things are they focused on and then

you have to go there and study wherever

they are okay whether it’s the internet

whether it’s a church whether it’s a a a

area uh environment location um it’s a

block a street a city wherever these

people are you gotta find them and study

them okay um so you found you know where

you want to be you know what problem you

want to solve you know who is being

affected by it you know where their

attention is you go there and study and

then you figure out how you want to show

up your authentic way

when you get there how do you want to

show up what are you going to do when

you get there are you going to shoot

video are you going to write are you

going to

do photography are you going to go there

just be a helping hand are you going to

sweep are you going to mop like what are

you gonna do when you get there and then

you also have to think about what value

you want to add when you get there okay

so is it just authenticity is it music

is it education inspiration

art comedy is it just a sense of

community figure out how you’re going to

add value to that community right and

then you create a schedule and you do it

over and over and over and over and over

and over and over and over and

over and over and over and over and over

again and that’s it
