Chronic pain can be debilitating and is almost always a lifestyle changer. Although statistics vary slightly, approximately 20% of adults live with chronic pain. Some of us cope better than others and live a quality of life. If you live with chronic pain or are the spouse of a person who lives with chronic pain, tell us your story.
- How do you cope?
- What lessons did you learn about yourself?
- What lessons did you learn about people?
- What have you learned about society related to the disabilities associated with chronic pain?
- What challenges are you working on overcoming?
- How do you manage pain?
Essays accepted may be included in our upcoming compendium on chronic pain.
