TASK #5: FECKLESS
These are perilous times–the terra on which we stand seems to be shifting, so men must be resolved, steadfast, unwavering.
|
Do you know what feckless means? Well, look it up and hopefully not one word in the definition can be used to describe you. The opposite of feckless in my opinion is RESOLUTE–determined, purposefold, resolved, steadfast, unwavering. These are words that you WANT people to use when they describe you.
These are perilous times–the terra on which we stand seems to be shifting, so men must be resolved, steadfast, unwavering.
You must be RELIABLE. When a friend is in need, you must act. You must be LOYAL. TRUSTWORTHY. If a friend tells you a secret, it must remain
a secret. You must exude POSITIVITY, and for God’s sake, have some fun in your heart. If you can’t make someone laugh, or laugh yourself, or at least smile, you are pretty much doomed (see Steve Bannon).
And you must demand as much from you friends. Not acquaintances–that’s why they’re acquaintances, but you friends must as non-feckless as
you.
TASK:
Get out your notebook. Write down LOYAL, RELIABLE, TRUSTWORTHY, POSITIVE, AND FUN. Circle those attributes that describe you. And work on the rest.
Then write down the names of your friends and ask yourself: which of them are loyal, reliable, trustworthy, positive and fun?
