Okay so maybe you feel like shit. We all can get low sometimes. In fact, every single human being on the face of this planet can claim they’ve felt bottom of the barrel shitty at some point in life. It’s normal, but it’s also important to remember whenever low vibes creep in, the worst thing you could possibly do is beat yourself up even more for having these feelings.
As they say, “Shit happens”…right?
Then there are those times when you don’t even have the slightest clue as to why you even feel like shit in the first place…and that’s okay too. There’s no rules to this shit. Sometimes shitty emotions simply arise, and even though you may be able to control your reaction to whatever it is you’re feeling, you sure as shit can’t control when or where this shit happens, but it does, and it will again…and it never has anything personal to do with you. Remember that.
You aren’t a bad person for feeling low vibes, but by you choosing to stay in them longer than you need to, only makes you feel shittier. The sooner you realize that, it’s like taking a laxative, sliding out from your suffering and realize it’s all gravy baby.
Life becomes conveniently easier the moment you stop devoting time and energy into scrupulously over-analyzing the “ins and outs” of every single shitty emotion you have…studying, judging, questioning and blaming other people, places, circumstances, things, and even yourself, as you search for reasons why you feel like shit in the first place.
There are absolutely zero requirements to attach meaning to shitty feelings, and quite often a shitty feeling is just that, a shitty feeling. Nothing more, nothing less, and once again, nothing personal to do with you.
Try and see if you can “let shit slide” next time naturally and on its own. I can almost guarantee it passes quickly. No hold ups…all smooth sailing and constipation-free.
Don’t allow whatever shit you feel to define you.
Separate yourself and detach from shitty feelings. The majority whatever we’re feeling is attached to a some thought linked to a story we tell ourselves, and like all thoughts, shitty feelings do not make up who you are either.
So next time shit hits the fan, roll with it. Otherwise you’ll soon find yourself once again stuck up shits creek without a paddle and slowly being consumed by your own shit until you feel stuck neck deep in it.
