Why does everyone go after the extroverted, chatty partner? Why would you not want someone conservative with their energy? Relationships should be passionate and filled with excitement. How can anyone with low energy give someone a healthy love?
Like how? Aren’t they are quick to settle because they don’t want to go through the hassle of looking for love.
But what if that’s not the case? I’m a lazy partner.
I prefer not to have intense fights, emotional uncertainty, and noisy moments. But everyone is different. Who you get attracted to is the correct choice for you. I’m only saying. Lazy partners can have healthy relationships despite the label they wear.
Your lazy partner is a splendid companion. Here’s why.
…
Unmatched energy
A lazy partner won’t match your energy in a fight. They aren’t quick to leave either. Why? Because drama takes energy. Lazy companions don’t have the stamina to match your mood or energy.
As a passionate fighter, you need someone who will contribute neutral energy. So you can calm down faster.
Does the person not care? Why do you have to be the one carrying the argument?
Most fights are an opportunity for communication. A lazy partner understands this. They want to skip the high emotions and hurt feelings to have a conversation about comprise.
…
Consistency
I’d dislike it if my love interest was the worst most times, then tried to fix everything with a grand gesture.
I’m not into that part of rom-com movies.
I prefer a lazy soulmate who is consistent in helping around the house and with the bills. I need a supportive partner most days, not only on one day.
…
Let’s not share the mic.
When you’re having a conversation, you want back the respect you showed the other person.
Yeah, you want the microphone to yourself. I like to know that someone is listening to me. It’s common for energetic partners to have a topic they think is worth sharing.
But keep quiet when it’s my turn to speak.
I love how lazy romantic interests, at times, only have the energy to listen. Or they can enjoy moments in silence. It’s perfect.

The DIY heroes
I think I’ve talked about dishes before. It’s a pet peeve for me. I like when someone is too lazy to make dishes pile up. They see it as convenient to do the plates and pots as they get dirty.
It’s overwhelming to see the dirty dish pile grow. And an individual is comfortable with it — because they’ll clean when done cooking. Nope.
A lazy person wants to batch work into small sections so it seems more doable. Or maybe my kitchen space is too small why this is such a necessity.

Reduced time spent in emotional limbo
It takes energy to fight your feelings. I love being in emotional peace.
I’ll never sit around and jump to conclusions. Many times, I’ll say how I feel or ask questions about the relationship’s progress. I want to keep my mental peace.
Lazy people don’t like overexertion, whether mental or physical.
We want confirmation, so we know where we stand.
…
Expectations handled
Feelings change. But one thing about a lazy person. They are not trying to waste anyone’s time. They will tell you where they are at emotionally. It’s up to you if you will listen.
Please hear them out; if you want things to work. Lazy people are often stubborn. Won’t argue, and are likely to listen to you.
…
And yes, there are extreme cases of laziness:
