When I think about how much I love you, I can’t breathe. You bring out emotions in me that I didn’t know existed. I want so much more of what I’m feeling. To say, “I love you,” would be disrespectful to how I feel. What I have feels bigger and stronger than love—you are literally my oxygen.

I don’t know how we got here. Our love was improbable and happened when I least expected it. I was busy trying to build a better life and so were you. We came from different worlds and our experiences should have kept us apart. They didn’t and now we are here.

This love terrifies. It’s so intense. I know that we’ll either have a fairy tale ending or I will walk away with a shattered heart. Either way, I’m willing to risk it because of how you make me feel. You make me want to be a better man.

You’ve helped me find what used to drive me. You’ve helped me realize that I want to be the best version of myself. I let myself go for a long time. I can finally admit it. Your love helped me see past my excuses and gave me the strength to put in the hard work to regain control.

Every day when I’m tempted to eat junk food or skip a workout, I think about you. I think about how I want to be a man that drives you wild. I want you to see me and feel the instant electricity that I feel for you. You help me push through what has held me back in the past.
