As I thought about the verdict—which allowed the leaders of an insurrection to go free—I became more than a little disturbed by not only the immediate concerns but what this might mean after the elections. With the events in the Dakotas becoming more heated, supremacy soup seems just about done…

I get it, everyone you disagree with HAS to be a “white supremicist”. Right?
If we had a media that employed workers with brain cells, people would be more informed about this story. They weren’t aqquited becuase they were white, you dumbasses. The jury agreed with the groups views on BLM(Bureau of Land Management) and basically refused to judge them as guilty for commiting a crime in a sitation they see as immoral. Basically, a jury of their peers agreed with them, thought their fight was just, and saw putting them in jail was immoral. I’m willing to bet most critics have spent zero time actually looking into how people in these communities feel… Read more »
You mean the guys that the police didn’t kill, white lives matter. Being killed is such a privilege.

Yes, the above was sarcastic. I don’t think the BLM movement is up and up. White men are killed by police at three times the rate of black women. It’s mostly a gender issue not race, but shouldn’t you be as consistent as I? You need to acknowledge the white man who was killed when considering “privilege”.
R. Kelly- on tape having sex with a minor. Verdict? Not Guilty
OJ Simpson- killed his wife and lover. Verdict? Not Guilty
Don King- killed Hillary Brown and stomped Sam Garrett to death. Verdict? Not Guilty
Are you going to do this every time a jury turns in a stupid verdict?
If so you better be consistent.
Robert Blake and Klaus Von Bulow (White) were also found not guilty. Your point is? The fact is that racism is REAL factor in our society whether you want to admit it or not.
The fact is that juries turn in STUPID verdicts on a frequency that makes them noticeable. You can’t use a jury verdict as a proof of pervasive white supremacy unless that fits the preponderance of stupid jury verdicts.
For the love of God people- stop flying off the handle and THINK.
Agreed! The acquittal of the militiamen in the Oregon standoff was the classic example of White privilege. Does anyone honestly believe that a group of Black or Hispanic protestors could have seized a government building, occupy its land for several weeks and be found not guilty? I will answer my own question, HELL NO! First off, they would have probably have been shot to death or blown to smithereens by dynamite. If they were “fortunate” enough to still be alive and go to trial, they would have almost certainly have ben found guilty and received life or a minimum of… Read more »
I agreed with you wholeheartedly, E. Jefferson
